On Friday, June 20, 2008, in accordance with the By Laws of the Wren Youth Association, Inc., an Open Board Meeting for all Association Members at Wren High School Freshman Accademy was held. The purpose of the meeting was to elect new Board Officers and Sports Directors. The following election results were a result of this meeting:

During the Open Board Meeting, The general membership along with the new elected Officers and Directors agreed to amend the By Laws of the Wren Youth Association, Inc., and to change the Board elections from the month of June to the month of May. This change was to encourage more membership involvement in the elections. The term of offices for elected officers will remain the same. This will provide time for transition between the outgoing and incoming administrations.

We will not have practice July 1st or July 8th due to holiday/vacation schedules. We will resume Tuesday, July 15th at 6:30p as normal.

Wren Youth Football will hold skill Evaluation Day on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Hurricane Springs Park. The Evaluation Day is used to determine each players skill level. This will then help in drafting the teams for each age group. All registered football players should make every attempt to make the evaluation date and times for each listed age grouping as indicated:

Ages 6-8 9:00 am

Ages 9-10 11:00 am

Ages 11-12 To be Determined

Practice will begin Tuesday, June 10th from 6:30-8:30pm @ Hurricane Park. We will be in the fields close to the tennis courts/walking track.

Camp will be June 5-7 at Wren High School
Thursday 6p-9p
Friday 6p-9p
Saturday 9a-12p

Please make every effort to attend this camp. It is a vital part of our program.
If you will not be able to attend please notify Leigh Nalley by no later than Tuesday, June 3rd to have your camp fee refunded. After this date there will be no refunds given.

Registration dates are:

Saturday, April 19, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 27, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Location for both dates will be upstairs at Hurricane Spring Park
