2024 Lacrosse Registration now open

For Spring 2024, we look forward to offering the following programs; look for registration to open in January:

Non-Competitive:

Flex 6 is a co-ed opportunity to learn the sport of Lacrosse at a lower cost and focused on the Elementary School Level.  Practices will be once per week with all scrimmages incorporated into practice.  Practices will likely be on Sunday's beginning in March. The Flex 6 program is designed to teach basic lacrosse skills. These skills are incorporated into drills and mini games. A scrimmage between participants will take place at the end of each practice. The only equipment required are sticks. Our Flex 6 program was fortunate enough to receive a grant from USA Lacrosse, which provided our program with sticks to use during practice (you will not be able to take this stick home). You are welcome to use your own stick as well if you have one or want to purchase one. USA Lacrosse membership is required on top of WYA registration fee. This membership provides necessary insurance coverage along with other member perks. Read more about USA Lacrosse Membership here: https://www.usalacrosse.com/member-benefits

Competitive options:

12/14U boys
play 10v10 games at The Burg Sports (formerly known as Upward Star Center) on the weekend and will practice 2-3x per week.  Games start mid-March and run through mid-May and include playing teams throughout the Upstate.  Boys protective lacrosse gear is required. No previous experience is required.

Please note that some 2012 & 2013 birth year registrants (depending on month and date of birth) will have the option to register for Flex 6 OR one of our competitive programs. If you child is brand new to the sport and simply wants to try it out in a non-competitive setting, we recommend Flex 6.
